Festival in Remedios, Cuba featuring elaborate parades, floats, music and dancing, December 24, 2001
Cleveland Museum of Arts
The Cleveland Museum of Arts' International Artists Exchange program invited two Cuban artists from the city festival of Remedios, Cuba to participate in Cleveland's annual Parade Circle Celebration and emerging/student artist internship program. Both festivals come from the heart of each country and feature elaborate parades, artistry, music and dancing. (2002)
 
Contemporary Cuban Cultural Program for American Patrons
Directors of major U.S. cultural institutions visited the Ludwig Foundation of Cuba to become familiar with Cuban art and culture. Participants represented the Brooklyn Academy of Music, IMG Artists, Flynn Center for the Performing Arts, Multi-Art Projects and Productions (MAPP), Joyce Theater, and many others. (2000)
 
Cuban and North American Choreographers
During the International Ballet Festival of Havana, North American and Cuban directors and choreographers met through the Ludwig Foundation of Cuba and established the basis for future exchange programs with the Washington Ballet, Richardson and Roden Dance Company and others. (2000)

CUNY Caribbean Exchange Program, Hunter College
The program at Hunter College invites Cubans to conduct research in the field of education and ethnic studies. Throughout the year, Hunter College acts as host for educational research, seminars and lectures on Cuban art and culture. (2001-2004)
 
Gallatin School of Individualized Study at NYU
Intensive programs on Cuban art and culture are created for professors and students. Lectures and field research include studies in dance, music, theater, history, architecture, cultural policy, sustainable agriculture, religion, education and health care. (2001-2004)
 
Graphicstudio, University of South Florida
Graphicstudio provided scholarships for Cuban artists, Ibrahim Miranda and Liset Castillo. Ludwig Foundation of Cuba then organized an exhibition in Havana of Castillo's work created during the program. (2000)
 
Massachusetts College of Art
Mass Art is committed to an on-going cultural exchange with students, alumni and faculty participating in rich programs of study at the Ludwig Foundation of Cuba. In exchange, Mass Art hosts visiting Cuban artists and art professionals, provides residencies and studio facilities, and exhibits the works of Cuban artists. (2001-2004)
 
Museum of Modern Art
The Ludwig Foundation of Cuba provided lectures, architectural tours, visits to artists studios and major cultural institutions for the Contemporary Arts Council when they attended the Havana Bienal. (2000)
 
Ohio Arts Council
In 2000, a delegation of 19 members from the Board of Trustees of the Ohio Arts Council visited the Ludwig Foundation of Cuba and participated in a program on Cuban art and culture. The Ohio Arts Council continues to facilitate art exchange programs in Ohio for Cuban artists and art professionals. (2000-2004)
 
Rhode Island School of Design
Each year, RISD immerses student and faculty groups in Cuban contemporary art and culture. Academic programs have focused on architecture, graphic design of the revolution and post-revolution periods, urbanism and its impact on artistic and cultural goals of the Revolution. In exchange RISD has exhibited the works of Cuban artists and provided residencies. (2000-2004)
 
Southampton College
The Ludwig Foundation of Cuba provides Southampton College with programs on Cuban art and culture. In exchange, Southampton College provides residency programs and teaching opportunities to Cuban artists and art historians. (2002-2004)
 
Tisch School of the Arts at NYU
The Ludwig Foundation of Cuba provides a series of seminars and lectures on contemporary Cuban art with a special focus on photography and dance. In exchange, Tisch School of the Arts provides residencies to Cuban artists and two workshops annually on stage and film direction, acting, and play and script writing for Cuban students and art professionals. (2001-2004)
